Newlywed Woman Accidentally Swallows Her Wedding Ring

A newlywed woman was rushed to the hospital after accidentally swallowing her wedding ring, which got mixed in with the vitamins she had taken.

Swallowing hard objects, such as rings, coins, or small toys, can be dangerous and lead to serious health issues. While many objects may pass through the digestive system without causing harm, some can get stuck or cause internal injuries.

Recently, a Filipina bride had to seek medical attention after swallowing her wedding ring mixed with the vitamins she had taken. The incident happened in Phuket, Thailand.

According to the woman, she had removed her wedding ring before taking a shower and placed it on the table, right next to her vitamins. Unknowingly, the ring got mixed in with the tablets, and without noticing, she swallowed it while taking her daily dose of vitamins.

It wasn’t until later, when she felt something wasn’t right, that she and her husband decided to go to the hospital. An X-ray revealed the wedding ring was stuck near her heart. The couple, despite the unusual situation, managed to find humor in the ordeal.

It took two days before they consulted a specialist to determine the ring’s exact location. Fortunately, doctors reassured her that there was no immediate danger. They advised her that the ring would eventually pass through her system naturally, and she would recover it after a bowel movement.

Though the experience was undoubtedly nerve-wracking, the couple managed to laugh about it, relieved that the situation wasn’t as serious as they had initially feared. The woman’s doctor confirmed that there was no need for invasive surgery, and it was just a matter of time before the wedding ring would make its way out.
