Former One Direction Singer Liam Payne Dies After Fall From Hotel Window
LIAM PAYNE – At the age of 31, Liam Payne, a former member of the internationally popular boyband One Direction, sadly passed away.
Payne fell from the third floor of a hotel on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, according to the city’s police. Information on the incident, which happened earlier today, has been provided to CNN and other news organizations.
As a member of One Direction, one of the most significant British pop groups of the 2010s, Payne gained widespread recognition. Payne’s adventure started in 2010 when the five members were assembled as a band on the UK reality show “The X Factor,” alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.
With multiple chart-topping albums and hits like “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Story of My Life,” One Direction rose to fame. However, in 2015, the band declared a break, with each member pursuing a solo career.
