JILLIAN WARD – The main cast of “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” admitted that she did not expect the ratings of the TV series.
Currently, one of the television series that has hooked countless viewers across the nation is Abot Kamay na Pangarap. The drama series is aired by GMA-7 and has gathered many of the best actors and actresses in the Kapuso network.
Abot Kamay na Pangarap is mainly starred by Jillian Ward who plays the character of Dra. Analyn Santos and Carmina Villarroel who played the character of Lineth Santos. Dra. Analyn is a genius who became the youngest neuro surgeon while Lineth is her mom.
Dra. Analyn Santos is the daughter of Dr. RJ Tanyag played by Richard Yap. He is the most popular and the best neuro surgeon in the country but he is married to Moira Tanyag who did the antagonistic ways of taking him away from his daughter. They have a daughter, Dra. Zoey Tanyag, who is not actually a biological daughter of Doc RJ.
There were several instances when the TV series sparked headlines. Among which were when the returning character of Moira Tanyag under a new identity appeared in the scenes and when the Baliuag Mayor called out the Abot Kamay na Pangarap over the February 14 episode.
Abot Kamay na Pangarap is about to air its finale. Based on a report on GMA News, the ending of the drama TV series will be aired on October 19. Recently, in an interview on Unang Hirit, Jillian Ward admitted that she did not expect the ratings of the show.
“Di ko po inexpect a mag-ra-rate siya, na may manonood. Sabi ko po noon, ‘Sinong manonood ng batang doktor?'” the actress said.
Based on the report, Jillian Ward also expressed that there are a lot of people messaging her telling her about the inspiration that they got from the show. According to her, the people who message her come from all ages.
“Mga nanay, mga bata. May mga nanay na na-i-inspire na bumalik sila sa pagaaral,” she said.
Jillian stressed that the lesson from Abot Kamay na Pangarap is that it is never too late to reach one’s dream. The TV series is airing since 2022. According to the young actress, she is happy over the success of the show and the people she knew because of it.
