Paulo Avelino Was Jesi Corcuera’s First Kiss
JESI CORCUERA – StarStruck alumnus and proud trans man Jesi Corcuera disclosed that actor Paulo Avelino was his first kiss.
A memorable revelation about fellow “StarStruck” contestant Paulo Avelino was recently made by Jesi Corcuera on an episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.” Recalling a moment from their time on the reality show StarStruck: The Next Level, Jesi revealed that Paulo was the first man he kissed.
Tito Boy even played an old video of the two actors kissing on-screen during the interview. Jesi used the chance to make a hilarious comment on the moment, playfully stating, “Taray talaga oh! ‘Bat kami hindi nanalo diyan?” (We were really daring there! Why didn’t we win because of that?).
When asked how the kiss went, Jesi Corcuera stated that Paulo Avelino was rather taken away by the surprising event. He jokingly added, “Nagulat siya. Baka hanggang ngayon ‘di niya pa nakakalimutan ‘yan!” (He was shocked. Maybe he still hasn’t forgotten about it until now!).
Although they shared a kiss, Jesi explained that their love team didn’t progress further, saying, “Tropa lang kasi kami, kaya hindi nag-work siguro.” Both Jesi and Paulo were contestants on “StarStruck: The Next Level,” which aired on GMA Network in 2006. Other notable participants included Kris Bernal, Aljur Abrenica, and Chariz Solomon.
Along with reminiscing about the past, Jesi also shared some exciting personal news earlier this week. The actor, who is a proud transman, announced that he is expecting his first child. In the same interview with Tito Boy, Jesi revealed that he is having a baby girl, conceived through artificial insemination. His revelation has been met with love and enthusiasm from his fans, marking a new and joyful milestone in his journey.
