Carlos Yulo, Chloe San Jose Appear at Toni Talks Vlog
CHLOE SAN JOSE – The girlfriend of Carlos Yulo claimed that she is hurt by the situation of the Olympics Gold Medalist with his family.
The double gold win of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, France brought a lot of pride and honor for the Philippines and the Filipino people. It invited a lot of rewards, incentives, and gifts for Carlos Yulo leaving him a multi-millionaire now.
Caloy won Olympic gold medals in men’s floor exercise and vault event. It is one of his ultimate dreams to win in the Olympics and he feels very blessed to not just win one but two gold medals in this year’s sports event. He was only 7 when he started learning the stunts and he was 12 when he really took it on a different level of seriousness.
The double gold win of Carlos Yulo in the Olympics and the bronze medal wins of boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas made the Philippines the best-performing Southeast Asian nation in the 2024 Olympics.
However, on the other side of Caloy getting all the praises for his Olympics wins, he also got different reactions, opinions, and criticisms as his family issues were unveiled to the public. It is no secret to the public that he and his mother, Angelica Yulo, have a rift.
Money issues and her disapproval of his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, were cited to be the reasons behind the rift between the mother and son. He claimed that she spent his money without his knowledge while she defended that the money was used in investments for his future.
The father of Carlos Yulo, Mark Andrew Yulo, have made cryptic social media posts several times seemingly urging his son to apologize to his mother. However, it is still unclear if the mother and son have talked.
Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose recently appeared in the vlog of Toni Gonzaga for Toni Talks. During the interview, the girlfriend of the Olympic double gold medalist claimed that she is hurt for Caloy regarding his situation with his family.
“It happened to me na so I know how it feels like na your own blood is like parang putting you down, hindi naniniwala sa ‘yo,” Chloe said.
Chloe San Jose also claimed that family situation of Carlos does not rhyme with the “family first” motto. During the vlog interview, she stressed that the family must also be the first to support and protect you and not the other way around.
“Yeah, family first pero family first should be the first ones also na sinusuportahan ka, pinoprotektahan ka. So why is it the opposite?… So parang sakin po, it does not make sense or hindi po nagtutugma ‘yung ‘family first dapat’,” she said.
When asked about what their relationship brings to each of them, Carlos Yulo cited peace and motivation. He also credited Chloe San Jose as one of the reasons why he knew himself and he became closer to God.
As for Chloe, she said that her relationship with Carlos brings him emotional security and that she is seen as the person that she really is. She is unfazed by rumors that she’s using Caloy’s money saying that both of them know she spends her own money.
During the interview, Carlos Yulo admitted that he was wrong for talking back to his parents and said that he has forgiven them.
