Pres. Bongbong Marcos Speaks on Alice Guo’s Exit from PH
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President said that he has a “very good idea” on who to punish over the escape of Alice Guo from the Philippines.
The exit of Alice Guo from the Philippines alarmed the different agencies of the government. Undeniably, it left countless people disappointed of the authorities not being able to locate Guo and much more that she was able to escape.
Multiple complaints were filed against Guo who is being investigated for her alleged connection in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in her town. She is also in the immigration lookout bulletin. Unfortunately, a week ago, it was revealed that the dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor has left the country as early as July 17.
Guo reportedly exited the Philippines through Malaysia and then moved to Singapore. According to the Bureau of Immigration, she arrived in Indonesia just a couple of days before it was exposed in PH that she has left the country.
The immigration bureau claimed that there are no records of Guo passing by the BI which is present in all the points of entry and exit in the country. Her siblings who also have a pending Senate arrest order have reportedly fled from the country as well.
The investigation on the illegal POGOs in the country continues even after President Bongbong Marcos announced a ban on POGOs in the Philippines. He made the order during his recent State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos broke his silence on the reported departure of Alice Guo from the Philippines. Based on a report on GMA News, the Chief Executive claimed that he has an idea on who to punish over the exit of the dismissed Mayor from the country amid several complaints.
“A very very good idea… I have a very, very good idea,” the President said when asked whose head will roll after the investigation.
Based on the report, Pres. Marcos said that the investigation on the exit of Guo is “almost done”. According to him, immigration personnel will be held accountable over the departure of the former Mayor. He did not specify the names of these personnel of BI.
The Chief Executive expressed that they will “identify all those who are involved and we will act very quickly”. However, recently, Marcos and the First Lady were dragged into the issue. It was after Attorney Ferdinand Topacio showed a photo of Pres. Marcos and First Lady Liza Marcos with the alleged POGO personalities.
Recently, the lawyer made an update saying that his client, Cassandra Li Ong, confirmed her photo of the President and the First Lady. Ong is accused of a POGO involvement in the illegal operation of a POGO hub in Porac, Pampanga. According to her lawyer, Ong knows some details about the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations.
