Among the couples who got a second chance in love are Yolly Santiago, a 69-year-old Pinay, and Joe Sullenger, a 73-year-old American who is a former member of the United States (U.S.) Navy. Her post recently hooked attention online after she shared that they met again after 48 years since they lost communication.

Joe and Yolly went along fast and a romantic relationship blossomed between them. However, in 1974, he was assigned in Japan. Yolly shared that they were exchanging letters at first but they soon lost communication.
In 1976, the Pinay got married and had seven (7) children. After 26 years, in 2000, she and her husband separated. In 2019, she thought of finding Joe on Facebook. Based on the article, she found him and he’s living in the United States.
The American ex-boyfriend of Yolly got married and had two (2) children but his wife died in 2018. They reconnected but agreed to stay as friends after so many things have happened. He went to the Philippines in 2019 and they spent time together.
