WILLIE REVILLAME – Variety show host Willie Revillame announces new program in an emotional way.
Willie Revillame is one of the veteran comedians and TV hosts in the Philippines. He is known as one of the wealthiest celebrities in the country.
He shares these blessings through his various game shows that have become very popular with the masses, such as Wowowin. Although he has been offered to enter politics several times, he chose to stay with his program where he can immediately help fellow Filipinos in need.
Meanwhile, after leaving GMA 7 where his show Wowowin was aired, Willie Revillame became part of ALL TV Network, but this network temporarily closed. In April 2023, Willie terminated his contract with the said network.
This was because he continued to receive his salary even though his program was not airing. He said he would not agree to such a situation as he felt he was only a burden to the station.
Willie Revillame could not help but become emotional when he finally bid farewell to his show ‘Wowowin.’ In his livestream, he also confirmed a new program that will reportedly be aired on TV5.
“For almost seven years, araw-araw ko kayong kasama sa GMA. Maraming mga pagsubok, maraming nangyari, may luha ng kaligayahan. May luha ng hinagpis na araw-araw kong nararamdama,” Willie tearfully said.
“Sorry ho naging emotional ako kasi mawawala na ho si Wowowin. Magpapaalam na po ang programang Wowowin,” he said.
He also mentioned the name of his upcoming program. “May bago na tayong programa dito sa TV5, ang Wil to Win!” Willie said.
It can be recalled that he took a break from television and online media for over a year after the temporary closure of ALL TV, which is owned by Manny Villar.
