The heartbreaking video of a poor man staring at a shelf of fried chicken goes viral and breaks the hearts of netizens.
Recently, a TikTok user @patriiickkk2730 or Nhielpatrick Nonol shared a video showing a man’s longing gaze at a plate of fried chicken in Crispy King restaurant. The video quickly circulated online and garnered various reactions from netizens.
In the video, the man, referred to as “Tatay,” can be seen gazing intently at the crispy fried chicken as the person recording explains the situation. Nonol mentions feeling guilty while eating, as they had just ordered and informed Tatay that he couldn’t afford extra food due to coming from school.
Despite the situation, Tatay graciously understood, saying, “It’s okay.” However, the TikTok user expressed a desire to improve their life situation to be able to help in simple ways.
After a few moments, one of the Crispy King crew members stepped in and provided food for the poor man. Not only that, but she also gave him fare money for his trip home, showing a compassionate act of the less-fortunate man.
Many praised the Crispy King crew member for her generosity and kindness, setting an example of how small gestures can make a huge impact on someone’s life.
