Gloc-9 opens up about his son
GLOC-9 – The rapper-composer revealed in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News last Monday, February 26, that his son is gay.
On the anniversary of his song with “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano titled “Walang Pumapalakpak,” Gloc-9 was asked about the success of “Sirena,” which was first released in 2012. It’s worth noting that “Sirena” won the awards for “Best Song of the Year” and “Best Music Video of The Year” at the Awit Awards in 2013.
Despite his initial hesitation to release it to the public, “Sirena” was embraced and supported by many. However, despite the significant influence of the song on his fans’ lives, Gloc 9 seemingly didn’t expect that it would have a profound impact on his personal life.
“My son is gay.
The rapper further said, “Minsan iniisip ko how life gives you hints of magic here and there. And I don’t mind. Anak ko ‘yon.” So he considers the said song as a gift not only for himself but also for his son.
