Andrea Brillantes on being a solo artist
ANDREA BRILLANTES – The actress-vlogger recently shared that she chose not to have a love team partner.
The actress said in an interview with the entertainment press during the final media conference of the series “Senior High” held on January 9, 2024 at the Dolphy Theater that she enjoys her showbiz career of not having any on-screen love interest.
According to her, she always had an on-screen partner when she went through so many shows before.
Andrea, who made her big break in the TV series “Annaliza”, also said that she wanted to explore being a solo artist when she had the opportunity.
“Before kasi ang dami ko pong pinagdaanan na shows ko na lagi ako may partner, tapos nung nagkaroon ako ng opportunity na parang pwede na ako mag solo artist, parang gusto ko siya iexplore, mas enjoy ko siya ngayon,” the actress said.
She also shared that that having no love interest on the screen gives her more ideas about herself as an actress and not being more dependent on her onscreen partner.
According to her, she got to know herself better as an actress and she can play more and can work with more people. She added that she has been working with different partners from the start.
Andrea also said that she wanted something new and it’s easy to explore more since she’s still young, adding that she doesn’t want to get used to being dependent if she has an on-screen partner.
The actress has worked with several actors from her past projects — including Seth Fedelin, Grae Fernandez, and JK Labajo.
