Miles Ocampo remains firm that being an actress is what she wants to do.
MILES OCAMPO – The actress recently shared that being an actress is a “love-hate cycle,” but it’s what she wants to do.
The actress said this after winning Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in MMFF movie “Family Of Two” at the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal. She was up against Agot Isidro, Gloria Diaz, Alessandra de Rossi, and Janella Salvador for the said category.
Miles posted a series of black-and-white photos from the MMFF 2023 awards night on her social media account and also expressed her gratitude to the Lord for her Best Supporting Actress award.
In the caption of her post, she shared that she started her showbiz career as an actress when she was 6 years old and her love for the craft grew along the way.
She also said that there are days when she’s inspired, days when she feels like nothing’s happening, then she’ll feel inspired again, and she just wants to make more and more movies, then she’ll question herself if “kaya ba?” and “kaya pa ba?”
According to her, being an actress is a “love-hate cycle” but it is what she wants to do. She added that she has so much love for what she does and she’ll reach a point that she’ll just stop overthinking and all she wants do is to do her best no matter what.
Miles went on to thank the Lord for her Best Supporting Actress award, which she noted is a “Christmas gift” from the Metro Manila Film Festival committee, while dedicating her MMFF win to her “Family of Two” co-stars and director.
“Mahigpit na yakap. Sa lahat po ng sumuporta sa lahat ng entries ngayong taon, maraming salamat sa inyo,” Miles said. “At para po ito sa hanggang ngayon ay naniniwala at nagtitiwala pa din po sa akin. Lagi’t lagi pong pagbubutihan. Pangako.”
