Here’s what you need to know about Maya Funds
MAYA FUNDS – This article will teach you about Maya’s new feature for upgraded users and who can use this feature.
One of the new features of Maya is Maya Funds. It lets you invest in Mutual Funds and Unit Investment Trust Funds.
With this, you can rely on a secure and accessible fund investing experience thanks in part to Maya’s partnership with Seedbox Philippines – a digital marketplace for financial products.
You can also use this feature to access products by BPI Investment Management, Inc. (BIMI) and ATRAM Trust Corporation, both leaders in the fund management industry.
Who can use this feature?
In order to start using this feature, you must NOT be a “US Person”, must have an upgraded account, must have a verified mobile number, and must be 18 years old or more.
A “US Person” may be defined as someone who is a resident of the United States, a person born in the United States, a person with a US telephone number, a person with standing instructions to pay amounts to an authority maintained in the United States, a person with a current power of attorney or signatory authority granted to a person with a US address, or a person with an “in care of” or a “hold mail” address that is the sole address identified for the account.
Considerations Before Investing
You need to consider your investment objectives and appetite for risk before investing. According to Maya, answering the risk profiling questionnaire helps the company recommend suitable fund products to you.
Also, you need to take the time to go through the products under this feature to understand all your options. All relevant product information can be found in each product page – including the minimum investment requirements, processing timelines, and investment backgrounds.
Each product in this feature has its own minimum investment requirement. You need to make sure that your Maya wallet has enough money for you to fulfill orders.
