SB19 Stell: “Minsan po talaga kasi nadudumog and ayaw po namin mag-cause ng commotion sa isang lugar na maaabala ‘yung mga tao”
SB19 STELL – The “The Voice Generations” coach recently opened up about the price of fame.
The “The Voice Generations” coach is one of the members of Pinoy pop (PPop) group SB19. Recently, the group released their hit song “GENTO” and also released a 6-track EP titled “Pagtatag!”
Stell appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he shared how fame affected his life and the lives of his fellow SB19 members.
In an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda, Stell said that the success of the group helped him, Justin, Josh, Ken, and Pablo earn a living and also helped provide for their loved ones.
However, he said that the success of the group also caused them to lose some time with their family because of their busy schedule. He added that their popularity also limited their freedom to go out in public.
“Though hindi naman kami malabas talaga pero ‘yung simpleng pag-mamall sana po na gusto naming gawin hindi na talaga namin magagawa,” Stell said in an interview with the King of Talk.
Stell also shared that people recognize the group sometimes and while they’re okay with it, this comes with its own set of issues.
In the same interview, he said that he became more selective with projects after joining the group. He shared that he was surprised to be part of “The Voice Generations” and he’s very happy, blessed, and overwhelmed that he’s surrounded by popular and talented personalities.
Meanwhile, Stell said that he and his fellow members couldn’t be happier when their fanbase – dubbed “A’TIN” – won the 2023 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off last August 9. According to him, there would be no SB19 without their fans.
