Bea Alonzo finally reacts to the cake-holding issue
BEA ALONZO – The Box Office Queen/Movie Queen has finally addressed the cake-holding issue.
A photograph featuring the Kapuso star holding Kyline Alcantara’s birthday cake during the latter’s birthday celebration on the Sunday musical variety show “All-Out Sundays” or AOS has gained widespread attention on the internet, sparking diverse reactions from online users.
Several netizens contended that Bea’s act of carrying Kyline’s cake didn’t exemplify “queenly” behavior, particularly with the presence of other male hosts like Rayver Cruz and Mavy Legaspi. This controversy emerged in the aftermath of Kyline’s birthday event on Sunday, September 3.
Among the Facebook pages that posted the photo of Bea holding the cake is “Certified Kapamilya.” In the caption, it noted, “This Generation’s Box Office Queen (courtesy of ABS-CBN and Star Cinema), pinaghawak lang ng birthday cake, sa isang GMA show. No other pa-comments”
Bea Alonzo has finally reacted to the issue. DJ Jhai Ho shared on his talk show the actress’s reaction when she saw it, saying: “Hahahaha, ngayon ko lang nakita.”

DJ Jhai Ho commented on how funny it is that people turned holding the cake into an issue. Bea replied with: “Hahaha, true.”
He emphasized that netizens simply wanted to create an issue out of it, likening it to the cake issues involving Alex Gonzaga and Vice Ganda.
