Dom Hofmann, a co-founder of Vine, has officially launched Byte. The Byte app is a short-form video application for iOS and Android.
Byte app was equipped with standard social features, including feed, Explore page, notifications, and profiles. At present, this app lacks the remixability, augmented reality filters, transition effects, and other bonus features that can be seen in apps such as Tiktok.
When it comes to monetization, Dom Hofmann also announced that the company will soon introduce a pilot version of its partner program that will be used to pay creators.
