ICE SEGUERRA – The singer trended on social media after his appearance on the TV5 noontime show “E.A.T.” hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon.

Cariza “Ice” Yamson Seguerra, formerly known as Aiza Seguerra, is an actor, singer-songwriter, director, and guitarist. He gained early fame as a child star, appearing in movies and TV shows such as “Eat Bulaga!” where he was known as Vic Sotto’s on-screen daughter. In his late teens, Seguerra pursued a music career, releasing the hit single “Pagdating ng Panahon” in 2001. He has also won the singing competition “The Singing Bee” and performed in the stage play “Avenue Q” in Singapore.

Seguerra made headlines in 2016 when he was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as the Chairperson of the National Youth Commission. In his personal life, Seguerra came out as a lesbian in 2007 and later identified as a transgender man in 2014. He has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has spoken out on various issues, including animal welfare. Seguerra married model and actress Liza Diño in California on December 8, 2014.
