Catering service of food vlogger faces complaint
JEAN CACHO – The food vlogger and owner of Cachas Catering Services, found herself in the midst of controversy when a dissatisfied customer, Le A Lyn, took to Facebook to express her disappointment with the catering service she received on June 3. Lyn accused Cachas Catering Services of providing subpar service and claimed that the food served was not up to the agreed standards.
Lyn specifically mentioned that the barbecued food was excessively salty and poorly cooked, with only 37 sticks provided instead of the promised amount for 50 people. She also criticized the crew members for eating while serving the guests, leaving them without sufficient food and drinks. Lyn further pointed out that despite being charged for 66 guests, there were actually fewer attendees.
“binawasan na food, pinunta sa ibang event-Floating chafing dish-Asin na BBQ-kulang kulang na dish and many to mention kapalpakan (emoji) BAYAD KAMI 32k NG JUNE 3 ADDITIONAL 5700 NUNG EVENT MISMO. SA TINGIN NIYO WORTH IT YANG BINAYAD NAMING CASH SA GANYANG SERVICE??” the customer noted in the first part of her post.
In addition to Lyn’s complaint, another netizen named Renzel Lugtu, who claimed to have worked with Cacho before, shared a similar negative experience. Lugtu mentioned an incident where Cacho provided insufficient payment for the staff and served them low-quality food.
As a result, Lyn’s Facebook post gained significant attention, accumulating 4,000 shares at the time of writing. Apparently, Jean Cacho has yet to release a statement regarding the accusations made against her catering service.
