Roland Abante aka Bunot gets a standing ovation from the audience and judges during his audition on America’s Got Talent

ROLAND ABANTE – The Filipino singer who is also known as Bunot, received a standing ovation during his audition on America’s Got Talent.

Abante started by introducing himself. When asked what he was going to do that night, he said he was going to sing a song. Heidi Klum asked Bunot if he was a singer in the Philippines. According to him, he just sings in the neighborhood while having karaoke.

Simon Cowell then asked him about his day job. Roland mentioned that he works as a fisherman and a “habal-habal” driver. When Heidi asked him why he was auditioning on America’s Got Talent, Bunot couldn’t hold back his tears because being on the AGT stage was his dream. To comfort him, Heidi went on stage to give him a hug.

During his performance, Bunot didn’t fail to impress the audience with his rendition of “When a Man Loves a Woman,” popularized by Michael Bolton. In the end, both the audience and the show’s judges, including Simon, Heidi, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel, gave him a standing ovation.
