Flight scheduled in October was canceled due to “bad weather”
CANCELED?! – A netizen took to social media wherein he aired his dismay after an airline canceled his flight scheduled in October due to “bad weather”
Flight cancellations in the Philippines can be attributed to various factors, including adverse weather conditions such as typhoons and heavy rains that pose risks to safe flying. Air traffic congestion, particularly during peak travel seasons, can lead to flight delays and cancellations when airports and airspace become overwhelmed.
Technical issues with the aircraft are another common cause, as airlines prioritize passenger safety and address any concerns or malfunctions before allowing flights to proceed. Operational issues, such as insufficient crew availability or unexpected staffing problems, may also necessitate cancellations.
Security concerns, whether related to specific destinations or regional issues, can result in flight cancellations for the safety of passengers. Passengers are advised to stay informed by checking airline websites, contacting airlines directly, and monitoring travel advisories to stay updated on potential flight cancellations or disruptions.
Speaking of which, a netizen named Adrian Dacol took to social media to expose his conversation with Cebu Pacific after the airline company decided to cancel his flight scheduled for this coming October.
According to him, his flight, which was set for October this year, was canceled due to “bad weather”. He emphasized that the airline company is “matindi” than PAGASA or the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, the state weather bureau.
“Mas matindi pa ang cebu pacific sa PAGASA. October flight cancelled na due to bad weather… Lakas ng amats mo ceb pac. Sige, bisyo paaaa,” he noted.
