CHESKA KRAMER – The actress recently reacted to the netizens’ clamor for her daughter Kendra to join beauty pageant.
Cheska, Doug, and their children Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin – collectively known as “Team Kramer” – were named as celebrity endorsers of Mr. DIY.
The actress said in the Mr. DIY press conference that she’s flattered that some netizens want her daughter Kendra to represent the Philippines in beauty pageants.
However, Cheska said in a press conference that she doesn’t want to give her daughter Kendra too much pressure.

The actress also said that she always remind her daughter Kendra that she will be what the Lord wants her to be instead of pressuring her to become a beauty queen.
“I feel flattered that they think Kendra can one day represent the Philippines, but at the same time I really don’t put much on to it because I don’t want also to pressure my daughter and telling her na ‘magiging Miss Universe ka, magiging ganyan ka,’” she said.
According to a report on the Philippine Star, the said campaign underscores Mr. DIY’s goal of providing families with their everyday home and lifestyle needs.
Mr. DIY CEO Roselle Andaya shared that the company is also about “creating nurturing spaces for families”. She also said that affordability and quality of products are not “opposites”.
