Yesterday, Japan confirmed its second case of coronavirus. The patient is a 40-year-old man who is a resident of Wuhan City. He suffered from fever before he flew to Japan.
The man who flew to Japan on January 19 claimed that his condition stabilized when he arrived in the country. However, three (3) days after it, he had a fever again.
Recently, another country, France, confirmed coronavirus cases. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, France confirmed two (2) cases on Friday.
One of the two (2) patients is currently being treated in a hospital in Paris while the other one is in the southwestern city of Bordeaux. According to Health Minister Agnes Buzyn, one patient was 48 years old and just came from a trip to China.
Based on the report, the trip of the patient included a stop in Wuhan City where the coronavirus is rampant now. He is currently in an isolated room to prevent the spread of the disease.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has already declared the coronavirus an “emergency in China”. According to Buzyn, the official advises those who are suspecting they are infected not to go to hospital to prevent its spread but instead to call a special number for instructions on what to do.
