Take a look at the photos of Sen. Villar
Senator Cynthia Villar was under fire over her alleged edited photos of COVID-19 equipment donation in a hospital in Las Piñas.
Earlier, photos of Villar and several hospital staff receiving medical equipment for the Las Piñas General Hospital’s COVID-19 Laboratory which appears to be edited went viral.
In two photos posted online, Villar can be seen wearing a red dress and with a face mask. But the other photos show she’s not present in the pictures.
Senator Villar’s camp has yet to issue an official statement regarding the alleged edited photos that are making rounds online.
But Jimmy Domingo, a senior lecturer of Photojournalism at the University of the Philippines told the ABS-CBN News that the photos which were first posted on the official Facebook page of Villar are “manipulated.”
“May give away…
Kapag may tinanggal at dinagdag, makikita mo mag-iiba ‘yung pattern ng pixels,” he added.
Meanwhile, the alleged edited photos of Cynthia Villar which were taken down on Facebook surfaced online particularly on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
