Aside from masks, hospitals also run out of office supplies. Because of this, TV medical dramas have decided to take their part. Television programs such as Grey’s Anatomy donated their supplies for filming to hospitals.

TV show airing on Fox, The Resident, donated medical supplies including masks, surgical gloves, surgical gowns, booties, and protective headgear from the show to Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital. Rheumatologist Karen Law in the said hospital expressed her gratitude to the donation that the hospital received.

Furthermore, Grey’s Anatomy’s show-runner Krista Vernoff said that their show donated 300 N95 masks to the local fire station and also to Los Angeles’s Station 35 firehouse in Los Feliz.

“At Grey’s Anatomy, we have a backstock of gowns and gloves which we are donating as well. We are all overwhelmed with gratitude for our healthcare workers during this incredibly difficult time, and in addition to these donations, we are doing our part to help them by staying home,” Vernoff said in a statement.

Aside from the aforementioned shows, The Good Doctor will also donate equipment in hospitals in Canada where it is being filmed. Meanwhile, New Amsterdam, airing on NBC has also donated supplies such as masks, gloves, and gowns, to the New York State Department of Health, based on the article.
