Mica Nicdao Goes Viral After MMDA Traffic Enforcement Incident
MICA NICDAO – The Vivamax actress went viral on social media after her vehicle was flagged and apprehended for a traffic violation in Metro Manila. The incident gained public attention when operatives from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) enforced the rules and had the vehicle towed despite the presence of the actress.
The operation was led by Gabriel Go, head of the MMDA Special Operations Group–Strike Force, who was firm in implementing traffic laws. He emphasized that the law applies to everyone regardless of status, appearance, or celebrity influence. In a social media post, he made it clear that violations are treated equally and enforcement will continue as long as rules are broken.
“Ibahin niyo ko! Kahit Vivamax pa hindi umubra! Hatak kung hatak as long as may violation the law applies to all,” he wrote. :The least that I can offer is puwede nang sumama ‘yong driver n’yo kung gusto n’yo.”

Following the incident, Go also mentioned that they were willing to assist in the proper processing of documents to help resolve the violation more efficiently. He further explained that the driver could accompany the process so that the necessary steps could be completed without unnecessary difficulty, including the required visit to the MMDA office in Marikina.
Despite the situation, Mica Nicdao handled the encounter calmly and even shared a light comment on social media, noting that the officer was polite during the operation, which made her choose not to argue or escalate the situation. Her post reflected a composed response despite the inconvenience caused by the vehicle’s apprehension.

In response, Gabriel Go made a light remark online, suggesting that while he can be friendly, it does not change the fact that rules must still be followed and enforcement remains strict when violations occur.
Mica Nicdao is known for her appearances in several Vivamax films, including the 2024 movie Dayo directed by Sidney Zaid Pascua.
