Woman Raises Alarm After Man Tries to Open Her Car Door in Broad Daylight

A female motorist has warned the public after experiencing a frightening incident along Bacoor Boulevard around 12:30 p.m. The woman, identified on Facebook as Lorie Sy, shared that while she was stopped at a traffic light, a man suddenly tried to force open her car door.

According to her account, the man was initially walking along the sidewalk when she noticed through her peripheral vision that he stopped and stared at her vehicle. At first, she assumed he would simply continue walking. However, after appearing to pass her car, he turned back and began approaching it. Sensing danger, she quickly grabbed her phone to record a video in case the situation escalated.

Moments later, the man aggressively pulled on her car’s door handle. She tried to scare him away by tapping on her window and honking to alert nearby bystanders. Instead of retreating, he became even more aggressive, pulling harder on the handle. Fortunately, her car doors were locked, preventing him from entering the vehicle.

When the traffic light turned green and vehicles began moving, the man reportedly held onto the door handle as her car accelerated. He only let go once the car gained speed and moved forward with the flow of traffic. The motorist said she was shaking during the entire drive and remained anxious until reaching her destination, describing herself as tense and short of breath even on the way home.

She shared her experience online to raise awareness and remind fellow drivers to lock their doors immediately upon entering their vehicles. Another concerned netizen later reposted her video, echoing the warning and urging motorists not to rely solely on automatic locking systems.

The motive of the man remains unknown, and it is unclear whether he was carrying a weapon. The incident has sparked concern online, with many emphasizing the importance of staying alert and prioritizing personal safety while on the road.
