Raymart Santiago Issues Statement After Claudine Barretto’s Accusation
RAYMART SANTIAGO – The actor released a formal statement through his lawyers after his former wife, Claudine Barretto, suggested that he and her personal assistant, Marisol Acap, were connected to the alleged kidnapping of her children, Sabina, Noah, and Quia.
The statement, sent to the television program Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, strongly denied all the accusations. Santiago’s legal team said he is aware of past interviews given by Barretto and her mother, which included claims of abuse and theft, but clarified that these allegations are not true. They stressed that Santiago had no involvement in any kidnapping incident involving their child or any of Barretto’s children, if such an incident even occurred.
The lawyers explained that Raymart Santiago has chosen not to make further comments out of respect for the court’s gag order, which remains in effect. They said he respects the legal process and believes that the truth will be known in time. His legal team also reminded Barretto not to use her influence and media platforms to damage the reputation of others, especially Santiago. The public was also encouraged to be careful and thoughtful when sharing opinions about private family issues, as these matters are personal and sensitive.

Meanwhile, a source close to Claudine Barretto shared that the children were safely returned to her on Saturday night, the same day she accused Acap and some supporters during a Facebook Live broadcast of being involved in the alleged incident. During the livestream, Barretto said she had already asked for help from authorities to locate her assistant and warned that she would take action if her children were not returned immediately. She also claimed that the National Bureau of Investigation had already tracked the people involved and asked those connected to the group to tell the truth.

Barretto also hinted that there were people she believed wanted to harm her, although she did not name anyone directly. She shared her concern for her safety and made emotional statements during the broadcast. Santiago and Barretto have two children together, Santino and Sabina, while Barretto also has two adopted children, Noah and Quia.
