Karla Estrada Says She’s Happy If Daniel Is Happy
KARLA ESTRADA — The actress shared her thoughts on the rumored relationship between her son, actor Daniel Padilla, and actress Kaila Estrada.
She said that what matters most to her as a mother is seeing her son happy, and if he is doing well, then she is happy too. She explained that she prefers not to confirm or deny the rumors herself, believing that Daniel and Kaila are already mature enough to speak for themselves if and when they choose to. For her, people should learn to be more understanding and mature when it comes to these situations, especially since what the public sees already shows that everyone involved seems fine and happy.
Karla also shared that she has met Kaila several times and described her positively. She explained that this was natural because she has long been close friends with Kaila’s parents, Janice de Belen and John Estrada. Because of this connection, seeing Kaila around is not new to her, and their interactions have always been pleasant and comfortable.
During the holidays, Karla spent Christmas with most of her children, except for her daughter Carmella Ford, who was inside the Pinoy Big Brother house at the time. She admitted feeling a bit of separation anxiety because she wanted all her children together for Christmas. Still, she said she was happy and grateful that most of her family was complete, even if one member was temporarily away. She described the moment as joyful but with a small feeling that something was missing.
Karla also addressed comments from netizens who were surprised by her appearance when she visited Carmella inside the PBB house. Some people said they barely recognized her. She explained that she chose to keep her look very simple that day because she was just inside the house and did not feel the need to dress up or wear heavy makeup.
