Former Miss Universe Judge Posts Photo of Raul Rocha and Fatima Bosch

Raul Rocha and Fatima Bosch Photo Fuels Controversy

OMAR HARFOUCH – A new controversy hit Miss Universe 2025 after the resigned judge posted a photo of a man and woman who appear to resemble MU President Raul Rocha and newly crowned Miss Universe Fatima Bosch.

In the picture, the two seem to be hugging. Harfouch added the caption, “Do you know who these people are?” which immediately triggered speculation. Some online users claimed the image was AI-generated, while others believed it was real.

Harfouch followed the photo by repeating his claim that the newly crowned winner was not legitimately chosen. He said he already knew the results before the coronation because of alleged business ties between pageant officials and the winner’s family. He also claimed that certain individuals connected to the organization approached him days before the finals, urging him to support the contestant for reasons that would supposedly benefit their personal interests.

The issue intensified because Fatima had already been involved in several controversies even before the finals. These included the dramatic confrontation during the November 4 sashing ceremony, where Miss Universe Thailand national director Nawat Itsaragrisil humiliated her onstage, and the walkout involving Fatima and other contestants. These incidents gained global media attention and gave Fatima significant publicity before she was crowned.

Harfouch’s allegations became more serious when he resigned from the Miss Universe 2025 Selection Committee. Two days before the finals, he publicly announced that he had consulted a major New York law firm to explore filing a formal complaint against the Miss Universe Organization. He listed possible violations, including fraud, abuse of power, corruption, deception, breach of contract, and conflict of interest.

He also revealed that a secret and unauthorized vote was conducted to determine the Top 30 contestants before the official judges arrived. He said the vote was carried out by individuals who were not part of the official judging panel, including at least one person who allegedly had a romantic relationship with a contestant.

Harfouch then warned past and current judges that joining the final jury could expose them to legal consequences if the results are proven manipulated. He added that additional details will be revealed in an HBO documentary scheduled for release in May 2026.
