Raymart Santiago Responds to Inday Barretto’s Claims
RAYMART SANTIAGO – The actor has finally broken his silence following the explosive allegations made by Inday Barretto, the mother of his estranged wife, Claudine Barretto.
In a recent interview uploaded to YouTube on October 19, 2025, Inday accused Raymart of serious acts of abuse, including physical violence and other disturbing behavior toward her daughter. These allegations, which revived old controversies between Raymart and Claudine, have drawn public attention and reignited discussions about their long and troubled past.
In a statement shared via Instagram Stories on October 27, 2025, Raymart addressed the issue directly for the first time in years. He admitted that he had long contemplated whether to speak out but decided it was time to share his side for the sake of peace of mind. The actor explained that for nearly thirteen years, he chose to remain silent and let the proper legal process take its course. However, he expressed sadness that the name and reputation he inherited from his parents had been tarnished by false accusations.
Raymart said it was especially painful because his children, who are now old enough to understand, have been affected by what they read and hear in the media. He lamented that some people speak as if they personally knew his family, spreading misinformation and judgment. Despite the pain, he maintained that silence had always been the better choice for the sake of both families and their children.
Responding directly to Inday Barretto’s statements, Raymart said he was deeply hurt by what he described as “disgusting accusations” from someone he once respected and treated as a second mother. He expressed shock that the same person who had repeatedly apologized to him in the past was now spreading lies. He firmly denied all the allegations, saying, “Hindi man naging perpekto ang aming pagsasama, malinaw sa aking konsensya na kailanman ay hindi ko nagawa o magagawa ang mga paratang nila.”
Raymart also emphasized that he has always honored his promise to Claudine’s late father, Miguel ‘Daddy Pikey’ Barretto, to protect his daughter. He stressed that he loves his children deeply and has given them everything he could. In closing, Raymart appealed to the public to refrain from making harsh comments that could hurt their families, especially the children. He said he would let time reveal the truth, choosing peace and respect over conflict.
His legal counsel, Calleja Law Firm, also reminded Claudine’s camp that a gag order issued by the Mandaluyong Family Court in 2023 remains in effect—something Raymart has continued to honor out of respect for the court and for their children’s well-being.
