Woman From Kabankalan City Complains After Tricycle Driver Invites Her to Lodging House 

A woman from Kabankalan City raised a concern after a disturbing encounter with a tricycle driver who allegedly invited her to enter a lodging house. 

Recently, the Facebook page “Bacolod KFive Station” reported that a woman who was allegedly invited by a tricycle driver to enter a lodging house. The incident left her uncomfortable and prompted her to report it immediately. 

Right after the incident, the woman went straight to the City Traffic Management Office (CTRAMO) and shared what had happened. She also gave the body number of the tricycle involved, which helped authorities identify the driver.

Traffic enforcers quickly acted on the report and spotted the tricycle while the driver was eating lunch. The driver was then brought to the local police station for questioning. 

During the investigation, the tricycle driver denied the woman’s accusation. He insisted that he was married and would never make such advances toward anyone. According to him, he only made a casual remark, assuming the passenger might be headed on a date. 

While the driver brushed it off as a misunderstanding, the woman felt strongly enough to take action, believing that such behavior should not be tolerated, whether it was meant as a joke or not.

The incident garnered various reactions from the social media users, some expressing concern about the safety of passengers, especially women. It also reminds both commuters and drivers to respect boundaries and act appropriately in public spaces.
