Recently, Violet Huelar, a TikTok user, shared a video of a touching moment between her and her father who introduced her to his old classmates. The post elicited various reactions from internet users.
In the video, Violet was seen filming her father, Toto, as they unexpectedly ran into his former schoolmate. It shows how naturally and proudly her father introduced her as his daughter.
Huelar shared that in the past, during her father’s reunions, she didn’t fully express her identity as a woman. But during this encounter, her father didn’t hesitate to introduce her proudly and lovingly.
“Kasi po dati lalaki pa ko nakikita sa reunion nila and hindi ko kine-claim na babae ako … tapos nag-ask po si batchmate niya nicely naman po parang pabiro nga lang po yun. ‘Di ko na po in-expect response ni Papa,” Huelar said.
According to Violet, her dad has been very supportive of her, especially when she started joining pageants. His consistent love and acceptance have helped her become more confident in who she truly is.
