Agot Isidro Speaks Up on VP Sara Duterte’s Impeachment

AGOT ISIDRO — The veteran actress has spoken out after months of staying silent on political matters, following recent developments in the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte. The Senate, with 18 senators voting in favor, decided to return the articles of impeachment to the House of Representatives for further action.

In a social media post, Isidro raised concerns about the ongoing controversy involving confidential funds from the Office of the Vice President (OVP). She questioned the whereabouts of Mary Grace Piattos, the mysterious individual allegedly involved in receiving confidential funds. Isidro also referred to the highly debated issue of the P125 million in confidential funds that were reportedly spent by the OVP in a very short period.

“Sa gitna ng kaguluhan, asan na si Mary Grace Piattos at ang 125 million pesoses?” said Agot.

One of the key controversies surrounding Vice President Duterte centers on her use of these confidential funds. However, Ombudsman Samuel Martires defended Duterte, stating that receipts and details related to the confidential funds should not be disclosed, as they are primarily intended for intelligence and security purposes.
