Sen. Bong Revilla Thanked Iglesia ni Cristo for Senatorial Bid Endorsement
IGLESIA NI CRISTO – The INC, one of the religions with a huge member populace, reportedly endorses 8 senatorial bets in the upcoming May 2025 Elections.
The 2025 Midterm Elections is set on Monday, May 12. Both local and national polls are set to be held. President Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte have different senatorial slates in the upcoming elections.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos supports the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago senatorial slate which he called his “dream team“. According to the President. all his senatorial bets have an experience in public service. The grand alliance is a merging of several huge political parties in the country such as the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), the Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), the National Unity Party (NUP), the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), and the Nacionalista Party.
One of the senatorial candidates of the Alyansa, Sen. Bong Revilla, is also endorsed by the Iglesia ni Cristo. The religion is one of the religions in the Philippines with a huge member populace. It is also popular for its alleged bloc voting during elections.

Based on a report on Inquirer, the Iglesia ni Cristo is endorsing eight (8) senatorial candidates in the upcoming May 2025 Elections. The religious group’s senatorial slate is composed of a mix of candidates from the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP), the Alyansa, and several other parties.

Based on the report, a source told Inquirer.net that the sample ballots were allegedly the leaflets given to the members of Iglesia ni Cristo. Here are the names stated in the sample ballot of the religious group:
- former senator Bam Aquino (Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino)
- Senator Bong Revilla (Lakas-CMD/ Alyansa)
- Senator Pia Cayetano (Nacionalista Party/ Alyansa)
- Senator Ronald dela Rosa (PDP)
- Senator Bong Go (PDP)
- Sagip party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta (independent/ PDP)
- Senator Imee Marcos (Nacionalista Party)
- Senator Camille Villar (Nacionalista Party/ Alyansa)
Reportedly, several senatorial candidates backed by the INC have already expressed their gratitude to the church for the endorsement. Sen. Bong Revilla has also taken to social media his expression of the “good news”.
“Good news po, at nais ko lamang pong ibalita na kagagaling ko lamang po dito sa Central, sa Iglesia ni Cristo, at ako’y pinatawag ni Ka Eduardo Manalo at nakaharap ko ang kanyang anak na si Ka Angelo, at ako po’y sinusuportahan ng Iglesia ni Cristo,” the Senator said.
One of the candidates reportedly endorsed by the Iglesia ni Cristo, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, is endorsed by both Marcos’ Alyansa and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
