Statement of Malacañang on the Reported ‘Bleeding Gums’ of Pres. Bongbong Marcos
Malacañang broke its silence on the concerns after several netizens noticed the ‘bleeding gums’ of President Bongbong Marcos.
The health of the sitting president is a national concern. Thus, many people were left worried when Pres. Bongbong Marcos was spotted with blood in his lower teeth during a public engagement. He was delivering a speech during an event organized to honor the slain uniformed personnel and their families. The event was held in Camp Aguinaldo last Tuesday.

Several netizens reacted on the seemingly ‘bleeding gums’ of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. There are those who expressed concerns about his health saying that he should prioritize his health and there are also those who advised an immediate medical check-up for the Chief Executive.

The variety of reactions by the netizens on the reported ‘bleeding gums’ of Pres. Bongbong Marcos reached Malacañang. Recently, Palace press officer undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro reacted on the issue on social media after video clips showing the President circulated.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Malacañang press officer undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro claimed there is nothing to worry about. According to the Palace Official, they just had a meeting with the President and she did not see anything wrong with his health.
“Nothing to worry po. Kaka-meeting lang po namin kaninang umaga. Wala naman po akong nakikitang hindi maayos ang kalusugan niya,” the Malacañang Press Officer said.
Recently, the Palace has also spoken on the Chief Executive’s reaction on the lewd statements of some candidates during their election campaign sorties. According to Malacañang, Marcos Jr. tagged the unpleasant statements of election candidates as “unacceptable”.
The Philippines is once again set for an election. Both local and national elections are set to be held this coming May 12. Currently, both local and national candidates are allowed to campaign to the people in the pursuit of getting their votes.
