A grade six student from Misamis Occidental touches many hearts after proudly expressing his love and appreciation for his farmer parents.
Recently, Teacher Jeric Maribao, a Facebook user, shared photos of a grade six student who expressed his love for his farmer parents. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Paul John de Ocampo, a Grade Six student at Bag-ong Anonang Diut Elementary School, made a special tribute to his parents during their graduation pictorial on February 27, 2025.

While posing for a photo, he held up a sign that read, “Proud ako dahil farmers mga magulang ko!”
Every year, Maribao organizes fun shoots for his students, allowing them to celebrate their achievements while honoring their parents in creative ways. He encourages them to write captions that describe how their parents inspire them. Some messages are funny, while others, like Paul’s, are deeply meaningful.
“I let them think po on how are they inspired by their parents in such an unusual way of describing their family. As I read their captions, some were funny and some were truly inspiring,” Maribao said.
