Actor Sam Milby Clears Moira dela Torre’s Name from 3rd Party Tag
SAM MILBY – The actor revealed that he is no longer friends with ballad singer Moira dela Torre whom he used to be very close with.
Countless people were left saddened when breakup rumors involving Sam and Catriona started crossing the surface a year ago. Several netizens also continuously noticed hints that support the rumors. She was absent at his 39th birthday celebration and their engagement photos have been taken down from her social media account.
It was in 2020 when Sam and Catriona revealed that they are dating. Three (3) years after, the actor proposed to the Miss Universe 2018 for marriage which she responded with “Yes”. The then-couple has set their wedding to be held in 2024.
However, in 2024, instead of wedding updates, breakup speculations crossed the surface. Recently, Sam Milby confirmed his split with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. The confirmation came in an interview with ABS-CBN News at the sidelines of the media conference of his series entitled Saving Grace.
Sam Milby directly answered “No” when asked if he and Catriona Gray are still together. Meanwhile, he stressed that they are in good terms and he even went to the backstage after TJ Monterde’s concert where Cat was spotted crying to a breakup song sang by Monterde.
“If you wanna ask her what she was feeling, I can’t speak for her. I know that we’re okay, kahit after nung concert I said, I’ll go to the backstage. ‘Cause we’re okay,” the actor said.
Based on the report, Sam also clarified that Moira dela Torre is not a third party in his breakup with Catriona. The actor stressed that there was never a third party in his split with his ex-fiancee.
However, unexpectedly, Sam Milby revealed that Moira dela Torre is someone he used to be very close with but they are not anymore friends now. Based on the report, the actor refused to elaborate further on the cause of the breakup of their friendship.
“We are not friends anymore. It’s an issue that’s really sensitive,” the actor said.
Currently, Sam is on a continued battle with a health condition, Diabetes Type II. His blood sugar level keeps on spiking amid his maintained diet.
