Kapamilya host Robi Domingo has issued a warning about taking legal action against a fan of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, popularly known as “DonBelle.”
The controversy began when Robi shared photos and videos on his Instagram account featuring himself and his “Pilipinas Got Talent” co-host, Melai Cantiveros. Expressing his excitement about being part of the iconic talent show, Robi captioned his post: “From being a fan to now being part of this legendary show — what a dream come true! Honored to be here alongside an amazing team. Pilipinas, let’s celebrate talent like never before. The stage is set!”
“Pilipinas Got Talent” judges for this season include Donny Pangilinan, Kathryn Bernardo, and comedians Freddie and Eugene Domingo. However, what was meant to be a celebratory post turned controversial when a fan of DonBelle left a threatening comment directed at Robi.
The fan accused Robi of possibly pairing Donny with Kathryn Bernardo instead of Belle Mariano, warning him that Belle’s solid supporters would bash him from head to toe if he pursued such a narrative.
The comment read:
“@iamrobidomingo ay subukan mo lang na i-match si @donny at @bernardokath ready ready and solid supporters ni Belle Mariano na ibash ka mula ulo mo hanggang paa. WAG MO ITOLERATE yung KA LANDIAN ng peste mong kaibigan.”
In response, Robi firmly addressed the comment and questioned whether it could be considered a threat, indicating that he was considering legal action against the basher.
“Can I consider this as a threat? Can I take legal actions against this? I don’t tolerate this behavior,” Robi replied.
