DJ Jellie Aw Files Assault Complaint vs. Jam Ignacio Following Car Incident
JAM IGNACIO – The businessman did not appear at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) over the complaint filed by his fiancée, DJ Jellie Aw.
The recent incident involving Jam and DJ Jellie came as a sad surprise among many people. Anyone would surely lift an eyebrow over an incident of a woman being physically hurt by a man who professed to be loving her and has even asked her for marriage just a few months prior to it.
Prior to the incident, Jam Ignacio has gained prominence in the entertainment industry as the boyfriend of actress Karla Estrada, the mom of Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla. They were together for several years but breakup speculations sparked in July 2024. In August 2024, Jam flaunted his new girlfriend.
Jam’s new girlfriend is DJ Jellie Aw who is now his fiancée. The businessman proposed for marriage to his disc jockey partner in November. Their relationship and their engagement which came fast in the view of some people gained different reactions from the public.
However, a few days prior to the Valentine’s Day celebration, photos of DJ Jellie Aw with bruises on her face crossed the social media platforms. Unexpectedly, her fiancé is accused to be the one responsible for what happened to her. Jam Ignacio allegedly hurt her inside a vehicle.
The viral post stated that DJ Jellie was allegedly only able to seek help when the RFID failed to scan and she was able to ask help from the cashier. She filed a complaint against the businessman before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
However, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Jam Ignacio was no show at the NBI. According to his lawyer, Attorney Oscar Karaan, his client is ready to appear at any fiscal’s office in case a complaint will be filed at the court.
According to Karaan, their camp already sent a letter to the NBI regarding the absence of Ignacio at the hearing set. The lawyer revealed that his client is doing his best to fix the problem and mend things with DJ Jellie.
“My client, he is trying to mend with his girlfriend para sana ma-settle ito out of court or out of the fiscal’s office para hindi na humaba kasi pinagpipiyestahan sila sa social media,” the lawyer said.
Based on the report, Atty. Oscar Karaan said that the issue between Jam Ignacio and DJ Jellie Aw should not be feasted over on social media as it can be settled within themselves. Meanwhile, their camp is ready to face legal matters if the camp of the DJ would push through with a case.
Previously, Jam Ignacio apologized to DJ Jellie Aw and her family. According to him, a simple misunderstanding led to the incident.
