Lolit Solis Expresses Concern Over Mark Herras Dancing in a Gay Bar

Lolit Solis Saddened by Mark Herras’ Gay Bar Performance

LOLIT SOLIS – Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis responded to the news that her former talent, Mark Herras, recently performed at a gay bar.

Lolit Solis has expressed her concern over the recent news that actor Mark Herras performed at a gay bar. This was revealed in a report by Pilipino Star Ngayon’s Salve Asis, where Solis candidly shared her thoughts on the matter.

According to Solis, the incident reflects the current state of Herras’ career, which she described as a far cry from his earlier showbiz glory. “Syempre naawa. Solis clarified that she has nothing against performers in gay bars, but emphasized that she believes Herras could have made different choices.

Solis further urged Herras to reflect on his actions and their implications for his personal and professional life. ‘Di ba parang ganu’n?” she said.

The columnist went on to describe performing in a gay bar as a “lowest point” for someone with Herras’ background. She encouraged him to think carefully about his decisions and the long-term consequences for his image.

According to the report, the controversy began when columnist Gorgy Rula reported that Herras danced at Apollo Male Entertainment on Roxas Boulevard. The bar reportedly charged a P500 door fee for patrons to see his special appearance.

Herras, who rose to fame as a StarStruck winner and was once dubbed the “Bad Boy of the Dance Floor,” has seen his career take a quieter turn in recent years. Solis’ comments reflect a sentiment shared by many in the entertainment industry, who remember Herras as a once-prominent figure in showbiz.

Whether this incident marks a turning point for Herras remains to be seen, but Solis’ remarks underline the pressures faced by celebrities navigating their careers and personal choices.
