Here’s What Marian Rivera’s Son Sixto Gave Her for Christmas
MARIAN RIVERA – Here’s what Marian Rivera’s son Jose Sixto Dantes chose as the perfect Christmas gift for his mom.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera brought joy to her fans this holiday season by sharing a heartfelt moment with her youngest child, Sixto. In a Facebook post, the beloved actress delighted followers with a video of herself unboxing a special Christmas gift from her son.
Marian began by explaining the thoughtful tradition behind the present. “So ngayon, medyo special ‘yung ia-unboxing ko. Kasi sa school ng mga anak ko, may free will silang bumili ng regalo sa mga gusto nilang bigyan this coming Christmas. Pero of course, siyempre, sa parents pa rin manggagaling ‘yung amount. Pero ‘yung school ‘yung magbibigay ng specific kung magkano ‘yung ibibigay mo doon sa mga bata,” she shared.
The proud mom revealed that Sixto had picked out the gift himself and was brimming with excitement to present it to her. “So ngayon, si Sixto, from school, binigay niya sa akin ‘tong regalo na ‘to at ang sabi niya sa akin, ‘You know what, mama? I think you’re gonna love this gift,’” Marian recounted with a smile.
The gift, wrapped with love, included a handwritten card from Sixto that read, “Mama, I love you. From Sixto.” Touched by her son’s thoughtfulness, Marian eagerly unwrapped the present, which turned out to be a Labubu keychain.
Labubu, a character created by artist Kasing Lung in 2015, is part of a whimsical fairy world featured in Nordic Fairy Tale picture books. The character, with its distinctive high, pointed ears and serrated teeth, is a small monster known for its mischievous yet kind-hearted nature.
Interestingly, Marian is an avid collector of Pop Mart figures, including Labubu, Skullpanda, and Molly. This made Sixto’s gift all the more meaningful, as it aligned with his mother’s passion for these adorable collectibles.
Fans were charmed by Marian’s genuine appreciation for her son’s gesture, which perfectly captured the essence of the holiday spirit—thoughtfulness, love, and family. The touching moment reminded everyone of the simple joys that make Christmas truly special.
