KC Concepcion: “Ending the year right with a conversation between Mama and I”
KC CONCEPCION – The actress recently took to social media to open up about reconnecting with her mother, Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
It can be recalled that Sharon admitted in an interview with entertainment journalists last May that she and her daughter KC were having problems and she also described their relationship as “estranged”.
KC posted on Instagram to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. She also shared that she recently had a meaningful conversation with the Megastar and also reflected on the magic her mother brings to the holidays.
In the caption of her post, the actress said that Christmas will always be about love, laughter, and time with family. She went on to share that she’s ending the year right with a conversation between her and her mother.

KC added that Sharon “always makes the holidays extra magical and special”. The actress also expressed her desire to further strengthen her relationship with her mother, as she credited God for the guidance.
For this year’s Christmas season, she said she’s taking her quiet space to pray, reflect, recharge, reset, and look forward to the blessings she knows God has in store for her and her family. She added that she’s grateful for the love and joy she has in her life everyday.
It was last May when Sharon Cuneta shared in an interview with entertainment journalists that she’s “very hurt” about the status of her relationship with her daughter.
“Anuman ang problema namin ng panganay ko kasi at this point we’re estranged and I’m very, very hurt, and there are things na tama na ‘yun, there are things na amin na lang,” Sharon said in an interview with entertainment journalists at that time.
Despite Sharon’s statement, KC posted her heartfelt message for her mother on Mother’s Day. She also posted a vlog on her YouTube channel where she revealed the memorable gifts she received from her mother over the years.
