Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera renewed their vows on their 10th wedding anniversary
DINGDONG DANTES AND MARIAN RIVERA – The Kapuso Primetime King and Queen renewed their vows as they marked their 10th wedding anniversary on Monday, December 30, 2024.
The actor posted a series of photos from the ceremony on his Instagram Stories, including a tearful Marian holding a bouquet of white flowers while walking down the aisle. The actress wore a white gown and white heels, while her husband wore a white polo shirt and gray pants.
Other pictures Dingdong posted on Instagram Stories include the priest praying over him and his wife as their kids Sixto and Zia look on, the couple sharing a sweet kiss, and a family photo.
The renewal of vows took place at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Quezon City where they got married 10 years ago.
Prior to this, Dingdong shared outtakes from a photoshoot he did with his wife in Dubai 10 years ago to mark their 10th wedding anniversary. Those photos were taken by celebrity-favorite photographer Mark Nicdao at that time.
The celebrity couple posed on the desert island in their formal outfits, as seen in the photos Dingdong posted on his Instagram account.
Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera met on the set of Marimar back in 2007 and went on to star in more soap operas as a love team, including “Dyesebel” and “Endless Love”.
The two confirmed in February 2010 that they were dating. Dingdong popped the question to Marian twice – the first proposal happened last August 2012 in Macau, and the second proposal happened on the dance show “Marian” in 2014.
On Christmas this year, the actor gifted his wife with a sculpture inspired by the official poster of Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry “Rewind”.
Marian posted a video on her Facebook page where she can be seen unboxing the gift she received from her husband. According to the actress, she immediately went to her husband after opening the gift that was packaged in a wooden box.
To recall, Marian revealed the secret to happy marriage with her husband in an impromptu interview in Taguig City last June.
Although she acknowledged the challenges of giving advice at that time, the Kapuso Primetime Queen emphasized the importance of transparency, love, trust, and faith in God and also stressed the centrality of those values in maintaining a strong partnership.
