Group of Customers Sneak Beer into Jollibee, Netizens React
JOLLIBEE – A group of customers received online backlash after sneaking beer into the popular fast-food chain.
Drinking liquor inside Jollibee is prohibited. As a family-oriented fast-food chain, Jollibee enforces policies to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all its customers.
Bringing in or consuming alcoholic beverages in Jollibee locations is against their rules, as they aim to provide a wholesome atmosphere, especially since many of their patrons are families with young children.
Recently, the Facebook page called “Malakas,” share a video of some customers who snuck beer into the popular fast-food chain. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, the group can be seen enjoying their meals inside the restaurant when one man discreetly opens a beer bottle hidden in a paper bag. As he does this, a woman in the group pours the beer into a glass, which they then proceed to share while continuing their meal.
They seemed unfazed by the restaurant’s policies prohibiting alcoholic drinks on the premises. At one point, they even displayed the bottle cap on camera. Once they finished eating and drinking, the group left the restaurant, laughing as if nothing had happened.
Many netizens criticized the group’s behavior, noting that drinking alcohol in a family-friendly fast-food chain is both inappropriate and disrespectful to the establishment’s policies.
Some pointed out the safety and legal concerns of bringing alcohol into such public spaces, especially where children are present. Others found the act funny but questioned the need for such behavior in a place not meant for drinking.
Anyone caught sneaking liquor into the fast-food chain will face appropriate sanctions and penalties.
