Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Asked about Whereabouts of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President joked that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is already in heaven as she believes that he’s no longer in Davao City.
Amid their intensified efforts which already involved drilling activities in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has yet to locate Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. Complaints were raised against the founder of KOJC.
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) previously announced a reward money on the information that could lead to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy and his co-accused. There were speculations and rumors that the Pastor may be hiding in Davao City.
Quiboloy’s church has a huge compound in Davao City. However, only the co-accused of the Pastor was arrested by the authorities in Davao. Several cops of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were deployed in the KOJC compound for the intensified search for the Pastor.
Previously, the camp of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has a condition with President Bongbong Marcos for his surrender. His camp expressed that he wants to clear his name in the Philippines but he is avoiding to be rendered to the United States of America where there was also a case filed against him.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte spoke on the case of Apollo Quiboloy amid an intensified search for the Pastor by the PNP. The Duterte family is close to the Pastor. The KOJC Founder has even gifted former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte a house in Davao.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte believes that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is no longer in Davao City. When asked about the whereabouts of the Pastor, the Vice President jested as she made a guess.
“One guess kung nasaan si Pastor Quiboloy? Nasa langit na siya,” Vice Pres. Duterte said.
Based on the report, the Vice President cited that the “grandstanding” in the Senate committee hearing took a lot of time and it gave the Pastor enough time to possibly leave Davao City. She believes that the government should think about it.
According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, she does not know if there is any bunker or underground facility in the KOJC compound as she did not see one when she entered it. She revealed that she usually enter’s the studio and cafe. The PNP did drilling activities inside the compound in the pursuit to serve the warrant against the Pastor but they have yet to locate him.
