Amid Cancer Battle, Doc Willie Ong Speaks on Politicians in PH
DOC WILLIE ONG – The celebrity cardiologist who is battling cancer spoke on the politicians in the Philippines.
Countless Filipinos expressed their prayers for the healing of Doc Willie. He is one of the most well-known doctors in the Philippines as he is also a content creator. He usually posts health videos that give tips of the viewers on how to stay healthy.
However, beyond the expectation of many Filipinos, Doc Willie Ong recently revealed that he has cancer. According to the cardiologist, he was diagnosed with a 16 x 13 x 12 centimeter size sarcoma behind his heart and in front of his spine.
Doc Willie shared that his tumor is one of the biggest that his doctors have seen. Aside from cancer, Doc Willie was also recently in a critical condition due to “Neutropenic Sepsis”. He had low blood pressure level, very low White Blood Cell (WBC) count, and high fever with chills.
According to Doc Willie, he was in a critical condition for four (4) days. In his latest vlog, the cardiologist was emotional as he unveiled his emotions and was honest to the Filipino people on what he believes may have triggered his health condition.
Doc Willie admitted that the bashing he received from his 2022 vice presidential campaign really affected him. He stressed that he just ran for vice president and he did not do anything wrong to the people. According to him, his every political bid is for the Filipinos.
“Bawat takbo ko para po sa inyo, hindi para sa akin,” the doctor said.
Doc Willie Ong also revealed in his vlog that he wanted to run in the upcoming election but his doctor did not allow him. According to the cardiologist, he was told by his doctor that his recovery will not make it on time for the election.
“I need 2-3 months before they say if I will live or I will die,” he said.
The doctor is vocal that he is a different person now. He stressed that he is now the brave Doc Willie and he wants to tell the Filipinos the “truth”. According to him, he is sad about Pinoys dying in the Philippines allegedly due to the lack of the kind of health care that is present in other countries.
“Anyway I’m dying, I don’t care anymore… I will tell you the truth…. Politicians are corrupt in the Philippines,” Doc Willie said.
Doc Willie Ong stressed that he is not a coward anymore and the politicians in the Philippines are his friends but he will tell the “truth”. According to him, whether he lives or dies, he will say it and he tags it as his mission.
“Sana drama na lang ‘to, sana TV show na lang,” the doctor said.
Currently, Doc Willie is going through chemotherapy treatment. Based on his vlog, advises all the cancer patients to get the best diagnosis and the best doctor.
