Andi Eigenmann Responds to Criticism Over Daughter Lilo’s Schooling Choices
ANDI EIGENMANN – Pinay Youtube vlogger Andi Eigenmann clapped back at an unsolicited advice about her daughter Lilo’s education.
Andi Eigenmann is one of the actresses who left the Philippine showbiz scene to pursue a simpler life. She chose to live on Siargao Island, leaving behind the luxuries she once enjoyed and has been residing there for several years.
Andi has been in a relationship with professional surfer Philmar Alipayo for over six years. Together, they have two children, Lilo and Koa, while Andi’s eldest daughter, Ellie, is from her previous relationship with Jake Ejercito. Despite not being Ellie’s biological father, Philmar treats her as his own when she’s on the island.
Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo had to postpone their wedding, partly due to the sudden passing of Andi’s mother, Jaclyn Jose, who died of a heart attack in March.
Recently, Andi responded to unsolicited comments regarding her daughter Lilo’s education, assuring critics that Lilo is thriving both academically and as a surfer.

In an Instagram Story shared on Thursday, Sept. 5, Andi Eigenmann posted a video of Lilo surfing confidently in Siargao. She captioned the post, “Someone somewhere on the internet told us to put her in school instead of letting her surf,” along with a shrugging emoji.
“She’s doing both, and excelling in both. Thanks very much,” Andi added, with a touch of sarcasm.
In another post, Andi shared more of Lilo’s surfing journey, noting how her five-year-old daughter is taking on bigger waves and always smiling, even after wipeouts. Andi explained that their mornings usually start with a surf or skate session, or a walk with Philmar and their dogs, which helps Lilo get energized for her kindergarten lessons at home.
