Alice Guo Claims Departing PH By Boat but Passport has Kuala Lumpur Stamp?

NBI Doubts Claim of Alice Guo on Departing PH

ALICE GUO – The National Bureau Investigation (NBI) doubts the claim of the former Mayor that they left the Philippines through boats because of the stamp in her passport.

Former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Guo was in hiding from July to August. She snubbed two hearings set by the Senate to discuss her alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Operations in Tarlac which prompted the upper chamber to release an arrest order against her.

Guo is also being questioned about her identity but she constantly claims that she is Alice Guo on the question if she is Guo Hua Ping, a Chinese national who entered the country in 2003. The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) found that the former Mayor and the Chinese national have the same fingerprints.

In August, former Mayor Guo was arrested by the authorities in Indonesia. The Indonesian authorities turned her over to the Philippine authorities. Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos was one of the authorities who went to Indonesia for the turn over of the former Mayor.

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Rommel Francisco Marbil also went to Indonesia for the turn over of Guo. Currently, she is under the custody of the PNP. The former Mayor was supposedly set to be under the custody of the Senate but a graft case was filed against her in Tarlac.

According to the authorities, Guo cannot be transferred to the custody of the Senate not until she posted bail. Meanwhile, the Court allowed her to attend a Senate hearing.

Alice Guo claimed that she left the Philippines through a boat. It matches the claim of Shiela Guo that they transferred to three (3) different vessels on their way to Malaysia. However, such claim is doubted by the NBI.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, National Bureau of Investigation director Jaime Santiago stressed that the Philippine passport of Alice Guo has KL or Kuala Lumpur stamp dated July 18. It also has the Sabah stamp dated July 19.

In a document previously presented by Senator Risa Hontiveros when she announced the departure of Guo, it was found that she arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last July 18. She left the country the day before.

At the Senate hearing, Alice and Shiela saw each other and hugged. Their photos went viral and gained different reactions from the netizens. The latter claimed that they are not biological sisters as Alice’s father is just her “foster father”.
