Amid Criticisms, Jojo Nones Partner Speaks on Issue vs. GMA-7 Contractors
JOJO NONES PARTNER – Ryan Benitez, the longtime partner of Nones, appealed for compassion for the GMA-7 contractors in Sandro Muhlach issue.
The issue involving Sandro Muhlach, the eldest son of former child star and actor-businessman Niño Muhlach, and two (2) independent contractors of GMA-7 network has caught national attention. The Senate even invited the camps involved for a hearing of the issue.
Rumors had it that a young actor was taken advantage of by two (2) executives of a network in a hotel. It was confirmed to be pertaining to Sandro when he filed a complaint against two (2) contractors of the Kapuso network before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The complaint of Sandro Muhlach was also submitted to the GMA-7 network who suspended the two (2) contractors, Jojo Nones and Dode Cruz. The Kapuso network stressed that they are “independent contractors” but they are bound to follow the Code of Conduct set by the network.
During the first Senate hearing, both Nones and Cruz ditched the inquiry. Niño Muhlach was emotional as he narrated how his son opened up to him about the alleged incident. Their family is determined to seek justice for Sandro.
Jojo Nones and Dode Cruz deny the allegations. One of the GMA-7 contractors was rushed to the hospital while the other was cited for contempt during the latest hearing. Nones is currently under detention in the Senate after he was cited for contempt.
Sandro Muhlach appeared in the latest Senate hearing through a teleconference. He admitted that he is not okay but he is trying to be for his family. He stressed that he could not eat and sleep well and he is still disgusted with himself after what allegedly happened.
Since Jojo Nones and Dode Cruz were named as the accused in the Sandro Muhlach issue, the two (2) GMA-7 contractors earned countless criticisms and bashing from the netizens. Recently, the partner of Jojo Nones broke his silence to seek compassion for the two (2) independent contractors of the Kapuso network.
According to Ryan Benitez, he and Jojo are together for two (2) decades already. He stressed that the GMA-7 contractor is far from perfect but the people who know him know his goodness.
“He’s far from perfect, but I’m certain that the people who truly know Jojo have experienced the love and light in his heart,” Jojo Nones’ longtime partner said.
Ryan asks the public to be mindful and not to judge Nones and Cruz and let justice prevail. He stressed that the two (2) GMA-7 contractors also have people who love them and are hurting amid the criticisms against Nones and Cruz.
“I hope people can be compassionate enough to reserve their judgment about Jojo and Dode and let the wheels of justice run their course,” Ryan expressed.
Sandro Muhlach has recently filed a case against Jojo Nones and Dode Cruz before the Department of Justice (DOJ). He was accompanied by the NBI and his legal counsel is confident that they have a strong evidence against the two (2) GMA-7 independent contractors.
