Customer Disappointed After Receiving Item w/ Different Expiration Date Than Ordered
A lady customer expressed disappointment after receiving an item with a different expiration date than what was displayed online.
Recently, the Facebook group “Tipid Hacks Philippines” shared the experience of an anonymous member who expressed her frustration after receiving an online order with an expiration date that differed from what was displayed on the website
The post quickly went viral online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The lady customer had ordered the items based on an advertised expiration date of November 5, 2024. Since the customer planned to use the products for their child’s birthday on October 26, they believed they were making a smart purchase.
However, upon receiving the items, she was shocked to discover that the actual expiration date was October 9, 2024. The discrepancy left the customer feeling frustrated and disappointed.
As a mother trying to save money while planning a special occasion for her child, she expressed that every little bit counts. Now, with the earlier expiration date, she faces the possibility of the products expiring before they can be used, which would force her to spend additional money on replacements.
The incident points out the importance of accurate product information, especially for budget-conscious shoppers who carefully plan their purchases. It also serves as a reminder for online sellers to ensure that the details they provide are correct and up-to-date to avoid inconveniencing customers and losing their trust.
